Entry into the Living Now Book Awards is fast and convenient, either through our online entry site or by printable entry form. Online entry requires using a credit card; mail-in entry can be done by credit card or by company or personal check in U.S. funds.

Authors and publishers throughout North America and overseas publishers who publish English-language books intended for the American market may enter. Books with 2009-2010 copyrights, or that were released between January 2009 and February 2010, are eligible.

Entry Fees are per title, per category. Enter one book in one category for a single entry fee; enter one book in two categories, pay two entry fees. (Sorry, no discounts for multiple title or category entries.) Final deadline is February 14, 2010 with "early-bird" entry fees available to those who register early, according to the following schedule:

• $70 per title, per category until November 7, 2009
• $80 per title, per category November 8, 2009 through January 9, 2010
• $90 per title, per category January 10 through February 14, 2010
  (Entries must be made online by the deadline date or mail-in entry packages must be postmarked by the deadline date.)

Judging will be based on content, originality, design, and production quality, with emphasis on innovation and creativity. Our judging panel includes experts from the fields of editing, design, reviewing, bookselling and library. Three to five semi-finalists per category will be named on about March 15th, 2010; final results announcement ceremony plans to be announced.

Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded in each category.

Submission for more than one category is acceptable. Submit TWO copies of the title per category. For example, when you enter a title into two categories, please send us four books. All books entered become the physical property of Jenkins Group Inc. and will eventually be donated to local libraries and charities.

Please include completed entry form and check/credit card info, or online registration receipt in the same package as the books. All entries must be posted online or postmarked by February 14th, 2010.

We will confirm your entry via email, and send judging updates and results announcements by email as well. Please inform us of any email address changes or additional contacts you'd like added to our contest update list.
